Whooping cough vaccination service

Whooping cough (pertussis) is a lung and airway infection. Our private vaccination service helps protect against serious complications and is suitable for anyone over 3 needing an initial or booster dose, including for travel. The vaccine also covers diphtheria, tetanus, and polio.

Our service is available for individuals aged 3 years and over who either:
- require a booster dose following primary immunisation
- require protection as a primary immunisation during pregnancy (from 14 weeks onwards)
- those with incomplete immunisation status who require protection
- anyone travelling where the country requires proof of vaccination.
When you arrive, a trained clinician will carry out a short consultation to confirm the vaccine is suitable for you. They will ask about your medical history, allergies, and any current medications.
Once everything is confirmed, the vaccine will be given as a quick injection, usually into the upper arm.
